Power Surge Arrester of Geesung Heavy-Electric is
made by state-of-the-art technology,technique and
design to meet the actual circumstances of foreign
countries as well as korea and newly revised standards,
considering each country's electrical features,
and residual voltage and response characteristics
against lightning surge,switching surge and all
sorts of uncertain surges are so excellent. It is

Disconnector consists of shunt resistor, bypass and discharge
gap and element. When surge is regular in lighting arrester,
system voltage is stabilized through shunt resistor and bypass
& discharge gap inside disconnector But when surge is
excessive and lighting arrester degrades, the element ignites
by excessive discharge heat energy of bypass and discharge
gap and housing in disconnecting switch explodes and system
line is isolated. Inparticular, G-5 Disconnecting Switch for
Lighting Arrester made by Geesung Heave-Electric could be
applied ranging from 2.5kA to 5kA as all-weather item and
is trustworthy.
