Gee Sung¡¯s Gapless Surge Absorber(SA) is designed
and manufactured according to the latest processing
technology to efficiently absorb surges by applying
the most appropriate techniques. During the development
stage, we factored in various switching surge characteristics
that power devices and facilities generate during
operation. Naturally, our absorbers respond effectively
to different types of switching surges drawn from
power lines, and yield remarkable benefits in improving
performance and lifespan for power devices and industrial
power facilities. Gee Sung absorbers are especially
unparalleled in that the power surge arrester, the
initiating voltage and the limit voltage function
in harmony to facilitate handling of any kind of
surge.
There have been an increasing number of recent incidents
caused by unidentified surges, and those in the
industry, academia and research organizations have
collaborated in response to the issue and suggested
a KS standard for surge absorbers.
We are proud to announce that Gee Sung absorbers
passed the tests recently conducted at Korea Electrotechnology
Research Institute(KERI) according to the provisional
KS standards.

Gee Sung¡¯s 5kA class Gapless Surge Absorbers are
manufactured with the latest technology and production
techniques, featuring light weight, compact size
and easy relocation, installation, maintenance
and handling.
Our SAs are designed to be highly compatible with
recent single package sets. The compact size is
perfect for incoming and distribution panels with
limited spaces, and the exterior design is also
impressive.
The limit voltage and accelerated degradation(lifespan)
characteristics have exceptionally improved from
our previous models, drastically reducing or eradicating
maintenance and repair procedures. (Maintenance-free)
